The Christian life is characterised by trials and suffering. But lest this reality lead us to despair, James reminds us that our trials are sovereignly choreographed by our loving Father who is working in and through them to bring about our ultimate good. Though our trials are often accompanied by numerous challenges and temptations, we can take comfort knowing that our good God is on standby ready to help, and willing to give us all the wisdom we need.
