Pleading for the Powerless: Esther 8:1-17

There is a sentence of death that looms over every person. In this chapter, we see Esther as a model of intercession on behalf of her people. She foreshadows Christ and informs the way we can plead for the lives of others to be spared the eternal death. The result is great joy as a new message of deliverance is announced.
