In Exodus 12:29-42 the 10th and climactic plague comes upon the land of Egypt. God is making himself known as the one true God, revealing his glory over Pharaoh and the false gods of Egypt and delivering his people from slavery. But he’s doing it through two realities that our culture likes to deny and reject, namely: judgement and death.
