Individualism and independence are held up as some of the most important values in our modern world. Over and over, we are told, "You are enough". But are we? Do't we need the help of others? In our passage this week, Paul expresses his own need of the church in Thessalonica and their need of him to fill up what is lacking in their faith. In fact, the whole of the Christian life begins with the acknowledgement that I am not enough but I have a Saviour who is. And that is very good news!
