The Authority of Jesus: John 5:19-29

In this passage we see that Jesus rightfully claims equality with God by calling God his Father. The Father entrusts the Son with two great works: the ability to grant life to those who believe in Him, both now and when we are raised to eternal life; and the authority to justly raise to judgment those who've rejected Him.
